Live Cam Network Press Releases
LiveCamNetwork.com has become one of the coolest little adult websites around today. We provide large-screen live video chatting to customers who want to take full advantage of their broadband
Note: The following are press releases that were released from Live Cam Network over the past few years and are sorted in order of most recent to oldest.
10/13/2004 - LiveCamNetwork & 2much.net Ride the RSS Wagon
Montreal, Quebec - LiveCamNetwork 1.9 creator 2much.net is preparing for the release of their video chat site upgrade by turning to RSS (Real Simple Syndication) to centralize their public relations efforts."It's giving me a break," said Greg Jones, in charge of Media and Communications at 2much.net, who researched RSS for months before deciding to give it a go. "Now, instead of auto-submitting, which can be inappropriate, or manually submitting to the appropriate markets, most of the job is done via RSS."
RSS is a way to view headlines without having to download the entire article. "This way you, or an editor or news source, can have twenty headlines, with one-line descriptions, where there used to be an entire piece," said Jones.
At present, only http://www.iNternetSexNetwork.com is providing the RSS feed, "And that's mostly for our adult video chat clients," Jones said. "But one feed is all you need."
Like iSN, sites involved will feature an icon or button with a link users click to view or subscribe to the channel. While an "RSS Reader" such as NewsGator or SharpReader will allow these feeds to be read, MyYahoo! users and Googlers can also read and subscribe directly through their browsers.
"Right now I've designed a site just for news content," Jones said, referring to iSN. "It's designed to help new sites get a little exposure, but especially to disseminate the blog and RSS news of 2much.net."
Jones claims this will be necessary due to the release of LiveCamNetwork 2.0, 2much.net's live video chat site software, due out later this year.
"Last year, when we launched 1.9, we were not expecting the business it provoked," he said. 2much.net is known for paying particular attention to customer support and product quality.
Geena Gekko of WallStreetGals.com, a long-time customer of 2much, said, "I have yet to come across any other company that is as focused on customer satisfaction as they are... on continuously improving and enhancing their technology platforms and related services."
The company's productivity and client base doubled in the eight months following last year's upgrade, according to 2much CEO and founder Mark Prince, and he expects similar reaction to LiveCamNetwork 2.0.
"This time, we're ready," Prince said. "And not a small part of that will be using RSS to inform the media and industry."
09/24/2004 - LiveCamNetwork.com Breaks Down The Walls
Toronto, Canada - LiveCamNetwork.com, 2004 BAA nominee live video chat site, announced it is expanding its roster of superlative chat hostesses and adding studios to accommodate a full schedule. The walls are being taken down between the adjoining loft space and LiveCamNetwork Studios to build new, fully equipped studios. Part of the reason for the investment, says 2much.net president Mark Prince, is quality.
2much.net, whose flagship site is LiveCamNetwork.com, creates adult video chat sites that feature not only full audio and video streaming feeds but a ready-made, instantly available live-content database.
"We want to improve the quality of the MBase by introducing what we consider to be quality chat hostesses," he said. "Right now, anyone and everyone can sign up with one of our sites and chat. But pretty soon we're going to be getting more selective. The only performers available on MBase will be those who do things right."
Doing things right means getting their chat hostesses to talk and respond with their chat room visitors without hiding their faces or turning off the sound.
"Interactive video chat means just that. Chat, live, video and audio, see and hear," said Greg Jones, 2much.net Media and Communications. "So basically these models who don't want to be involved in their work or show disrespect and contempt for the visitor to their chat room by ignoring him, not talking or showing a weird angle of her left shoulder and keyboard, we're not going to share into the MBase."
Many chat hostesses tend to log onto different chat systems in an effort to maximize their profits. "The result of this, of course, is your models will ignore one site for another" said Sidney Zombay of iSN News (www.internetsexnetwork.com), a site which specializes in news about the live video chat sector. "You can't divide your time like that."
According to technicians at both sites, video streaming at 2-4 frames per second on several different sites at once can slow down a stream even further. "Actually, it can basically freeze the video," said Chili Concarne of LiveCamNetwork.com. "And with a fast stream like ours [LiveCamNetwork.com streams out to users at 15 fps] that means we lose quality and speed. We look just like any other site out there."
"We just won't tolerate that low quality anymore," said Geena Gekko, of WallStreetGals.com. "Firstly it makes us look bad, and secondly it drags us down to a lowest common denominator level."
Jones claims 2much.net sites are striving to bring live video chat into its own. "We're basically fighting the general state of the art to try and market the actual state of the art," he says. "The technology is there. We just want models and webmasters to realize how good their stream can be."
09/15/2004 - LiveCamNetwork.com Announces Fall Line-Up
Toronto, Canada - Studio manager at LiveCamNetwork.com, Office Gnome has settled on her chat hostesses for the coming pre-glacial months of early winter. While Office Gnome has been hard at work dealing with schedules, interviews and trainings, webmistress Jen has been dealing with the additional stress the end of summer usually brings.
"First, we've been nominated for a Best Adult Award at the Qwebec Expo this year," she said. "And we've been busy with promotional stuff. But luckily the people at 2much have been very helpful in that." 2much.net is the company which built LiveCamNetwork.com.
Then there's the end of vacations and summer jobs -- which means a resurgence in regular traffic and sales, the need for more photo shoots and updating content more regularly. "It's true there's a reduction in traffic over the summer months. But the main reason for not being so busy with the site is another form of business -- conventions, industry gatherings and the big schmooze," she added.
Normally, LiveCamNetwork features all the content users demand with its Live Video Sex Chat -- "Anything else is a distraction," claims Jen. "But we're planning a few surprises over the next few months that will not only help expose LiveCamNetwork but increase the chat hostesses' popularity. It's original, believe me."
The roster for this fall on LiveCamNetwork will feature not only performers well known to regular visitors such as Serena, Deja, and Rachel -- and recent arrivals from the summer such as Ava, Vienna, Betty or Chantal -- but also a fresh line-up with the likes of Laurelle, Miel (French for "Honey"), BabyBrea, and Melody.
"Most are already scheduled and online now," Jen said, adding that schedules can be consulted on the site.

06/11/2004 - Former Hustler Model Opens On Wall Street
High Yield Returns For Web-Based Strips and Naked Call OptionsMontreal, Quebec - WallStreetGals, the interactive video chat platform that delivers live, interactive adult entertainment, announced today that it has formed a strategic alliance with Ashton Gray Live Models Inc., a firm whose most recent “public offering” was underwritten by Larry Flynt in the January 2004 edition of Hustler Magazine. The deal was brokered by Montreal-based LiveCamNetwork Inc., the industry’s leading aggregator of video chat entertainment, hosting and billing services.
Ashton Gray, a 24 year-old former runway model and principal of Ashton Gray Models stated, “The alliance with WallStreetGals.com is similar to traditional entertainment industry distribution agreements; in this case, LiveCamNetwork serves as the both producer and distributor. The LCM approach is unique to the industry in two important ways; clients can pre-pay for their time and never worry about hidden or recurring charges and more importantly, content providers such as us gain exposure through dozens of independently branded sites within LiveCamNetwork’s distribution network.”
Live video chat has become one of the Internet’s leading venues for the adult entertainment business, and with adult film industry facing production setbacks due to AIDs-related issues, video chat businesses are flourishing. According to Wall Street analysts, revenues in this particular sector are said to be as much as several hundred million dollars per year. Much like the traditional phone sex businesses, video chat platforms allow entertainers and customers to interact live, but this high tech service includes a real-time video stream over the Internet, and users can dialogue via instant message or a live audio connection.
WallStreetGals.com and AshtonGraysLiveModels.com are two of several dozen video chat platforms operated by LiveCamNetwork, a company that, according to spokesman Greg Jones “has experienced exponential growth” in the past few years. “We offer total outsource solutions for individual entrepreneurs or small entertainment companies. We provide turnkey software packages, total hosting, a network revenue sharing program and targeted advertising services. Most importantly, we have a unique billing module that passes muster with all of the mainstream credit card companies, a factor that is critically important given the increasing clampdowns on many adult content merchants whose billing systems are less than transparent.
According to a spokesperson for WallStreetGals.com, a long-time client of 2Much Internet’s video chat software package, “The LiveCamNetwork has already transformed our business. While we will always maintain a core group of proprietary entertainers, with stars like Ashton Gray Live Models now available within the network, we can grow our private label without additional cost and simply add celebrity entertainers from their menu. As operators, we can even select virtual employees that have been rated based on popularity and appeal. The fact that Ashton Gray will now be available through our site is a win-win for everyone. With greater variety and selection, our repeat client business increases and the entertainers gain increased exposure.”

05/26/2004 - LiveCamNetwork.com: Four Years of Giggles and Moans
Toronto - LiveCamNetwork.com, self-proclaimed "one of the coolest little adult websites around today," has undergone a slow overhaul over the last year. The live video chat site currently features new graphic interfaces, connecting videos and clips keeping visitors informed at various steps throughout, a "pic of the day feature" (with only LiveCamNetwork.com models) as well as a series of photos from its recent fourth anniversary party.Webmistress Jen, in attendance at the event, was glad to speak about LiveCamNetwork.com, her "baby" as she calls it.
"I love fiddling with it every day, it's like a toy. I get the web designer at 2much to make me some flash and change my backgrounds, all to make it a more soothing and stimulating experience for the users."
2Much Internet Services is the company which built LiveCamNetwork.com as its model site. Over the years, each new site was integrated as part of a new network of shared models and webmaster chat boards. Jen, who was hired to run the site upon expansion, said, "This mini-community really works to keep the whole interface environment dynamic, and it shows on the sites we have. I myself have plenty of time to just tweak things around, to experiment and be creative, instead of approaching the desktop as a chore of programming and management details each day."
LiveCamNetwork started out as a home office project, and soon found itself lucrative enough to move into separate offices. "I came on there was one studio. Then a month later we went on to two for the last two years. We just added the third one this spring, so we can hire even more chat hostesses now."
Jen, also a photographer, is aiming to set up 12 studios to fill out the site's unique combination of gabby chat hostesses, smooth well-lit video, and clear audio streaming. "Oh yeah, definitely. I really want them to hear the giggles, the moans, you know."
"We used to have some photo gallery content, but I've since taken it down because, first off, it got tired. Too many other sites had that stuff, and it wasn't what we're about. You want live, not static, when you come to LiveCamNetwork," said Jen.
LiveCamNetwork.com is expanding this year and promising to offer more of what its customers want - which is, as she says, "No BS live cam chatting with the best chat hostesses on the web. No hiding faces, no silent rooms or sickly sound. At least, not from my studios. A sexy chat worthy of that word."
