It is not a traditional programming site, though we do have our share of geekdom here, and it is doubtful that you will find another site quite like this on the net. 12/04/2002 - Free Javascript Basics Class by ScriptSchool Begins Dec 6th
Script School is pleased to announce the launch of a free training courses on scripting: a 5 week course on JavaScript Basics for Webmasters. This course will begin Friday Dec 6, 2002.TDavid, Principal of Script School.com says, "Many webmasters have benefitted from our current courses, and this will be our first course that we do entirely on our own. At Script School, we continue to demonstrate our desire to to help educate webmasters on scripting and the
technical side of the business, and we have continued to do this without any cost to the webmaster for nearly 3 years now.
This is the seventh full-length, free course Script School has released since April 2000 and TDavid adds, "This course will include a number of experimental and exclusive new course enhancements that weren't available for prior courses that should further aid in even easier comprehension of
the material. There are a lot of webmasters who ask JavaScript related questions and this should help them be able to write and/or edit basic JavaScript code for their websites."
When asked about continuting to work with other webmaster resource areas, TDavid answered: "Absolutely, we have one course already scheduled in 2003 for our newest sponsor: http://clients.acpay.com/ and we will continue working with any sponsor of Script School who runs a webmaster organization -- adult and/or mainstream -- in building full length, co-branded original courses that are useful for and targeted specifically to webmasters. The only difference is now we are also beginning to develop courses exclusively for Script School."
